Deerfield Valley Farmers' Day Fair?!

Welcome to the Deerfield Valley Farmers' Day Fair, a long standing local tradition which inspires neighborly competition, education in agriculture, wholesome entertainment, exhibits of area residents, and most importantly good clean fun!  The DVFD Fair looks forward to it's 91tst year in Wilmington, VT in August 2008, and we hope you'll check our site from time to time for more news and updates to next year's fair!  Expected events for 2008 include a Talent Show, Truck Pull, Ox Pull, Horse Draw/Horse Pull, Horse Show, Children's Games including a Watermelon Seed Spitting Contest, Scavenger Hunt, Bluegrass Jam Session, Cattle Show, Children's Barnyard/Petting Farm, Farmer for A Day, Pee Wee Midway, Pie Eating Contest, Youth and Adult Exhibits, Agricultural Demonstrations, and so much more!

Last year, fairgoers were offered a chance to see the Searsburg Windmill Facility up close and personal. Tours on Saturday, 8/25/2007 were offered by GMP and PPM Energy. Click here for details.
